Lease Operator

Item Description
Job Title Lease Operator
Position Description

Position Title: Lease Operator

Experience: 10+ years

Location: Near St Mary's PA

Overview:  A Lease Operator is a field worker hired by Pin Oak Energy to monitor, tend to, and document the extraction of oil and gas owned by the Company. This person will typically be expected to monitor equipment to make sure that it is functioning properly as well as fix any problems in a timely fashion.  A Lease Operator is also required to document any oil, gas, or waste water taken from the ground as well as how it was transported.  This position requires experience with unconventional oil and gas equipment such as compressors, dehy, and related high-pressure horizontal well site equipment.  Utica and/or Marcellus production experience is a definite plus.

In effect, a Lease Operator is much like a manager of the lease premises to include access gates, lease roads, all pumps, tanks, separators, meters, electrical, and other related machinery.  It is important that the day-to-day functions of machinery are maintained for optimum oil and gas production. It is understood that the Company will rely on the Lease Operator to make decisions, communicate issues with the corporate office, and affect reasonable repairs in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities:  Pin Oak Energy Partners is seeking an experienced Lease Operator with strong well production optimization, troubleshooting, and excellent multitasking skill sets.  The ideal candidate must have experience with unconventional wells.  The successful candidate will have a mechanical aptitude and hands on experience with dehy’s, GPU’s, separators, and other unconventional well-site equipment.  Some telemetry and computer skills are also a plus.

A successful Lease Operator will be able to perform physical labor and have an in-depth understanding of the mechanics of oil and gas related equipment.  Having field knowledge is important as well as the physical ability to use various tools to affect repairs.  Oil and gas field work will be performed as per State and Local regulations with an eye toward oil and gas best practices.

If you are a highly organized Lease Operator and have the ability to balance operational efficiency with innovation, we would like to speak with you further.   Please email your resume and/or call:
