(JUL 2017) Christine Shepard-Desai Joins Pin Oak Energy as General Counsel

Pin Oak Energy Partners is pleased to announce that Christine Shepard-Desai has joined Pin Oak Energy Partners as General Counsel. Mrs. Shepard-Desai has more than a decade of experience with oil and gas law, contracts and regulatory matters. Prior to joining Pin Oak Energy Partners, Mrs. Shepard-Desai led the regulatory and legal functions for AB Resources LLC.

Prior to joining Pin Oak, Christine Shepard-Desai was the General Counsel of AB Resources LLC from 2010 to 2017. Mrs. Shepard-Desai was the Associate General Counsel for EXCO Resources’ Appalachian Business Unit prior to her role at AB. From 2005-2007, Mrs. Shepard-Desai worked at a law firm in Chicago, Illinois where she focused on mergers & acquisitions, general corporate law, administrative law, immigration and real estate. Mrs. Shepard-Desai earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law with a focus on international and comparative law and her Bachelor of Science in Political Science and International Studies from Baldwin-Wallace College.
